Hair and Fashion Show "The Dream
Continues..." This event will take
place on Sunday, January 17, 2010,
at The Columbus Rivermill Event
Centre. Join The Hair Connection as they
celebrate thirteen years of the most
talented hair and fashion trendsetters
in the Valley area. This star-studded
event is the largest hair and fashion
show to ever take place in the city
of Columbus. Top salons, fashion
designers, and corporations are
scheduled to participate in this year’s
event.
Conceived in 1997 by husband and
wife team, Roslene and Markeith
Horace The Hair Connection gives
designers the opportunity to display
their talents on the runway while
networking with potential clientele.“Since beauty involves more than
just hair, we incorporate nails,
fashion, and cosmetics into our show. Each salon/designer will give a 5-7
minute themed stage presentation
with the event commentator giving
descriptions of the hair and fashions
being modeled, says stylist and cofounder,
Roslene Horace, owner of
Loose Ends Salon 3605 Edgewood
Rd. has been
licensed for 17 years. In an effort to give back to the
community that has supported them
over the years The Hair Connection
offers a scholarship for students pursuing
a career in Cosmetology.
Funds from The Hair Connection
have made it possible for deserving
students to continue their education
at Columbus Technical Institute.
Along with the scholarships, each
student is given a gift bag filled with
professional hair care and beauty
products. With your support, we can
continue to help students become
